Cancel or Reactivate Pro

What happens when you cancel Pro, how to reactivate before the period ends, and managing your payment method.

You can cancel your Pro subscription any time. Cancellation is not immediate - you keep Pro features until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you can reactivate during that window without losing anything.

What happens when you cancel

  • Stripe marks your subscription as canceled at period end - no further charges
  • You keep Pro features (unlimited projects, custom domains, rollback, direct publishing) until the period ends
  • Credits already on your balance stay forever - they do not expire or disappear on downgrade
  • Monthly Pro credit renewals stop from the cancellation date forward
  • Custom domains attached to projects stay live until the period ends, then fall back to the Forvibe subdomain

Downgrading does not delete projects or content. If you had three projects on Pro and go back to Free, all three stay - you just cannot create a fourth until you upgrade again or delete one.

Open subscription settings

Go to the Subscription page. Click Cancel Subscription.

Fill out the cancellation survey

A short survey asks why you are leaving and which features you used most. This is optional but helpful - Forvibe uses the answers to prioritize improvements.

Confirm cancellation

Confirm. Your subscription is scheduled to cancel at period end. The subscription page now shows the exact date Pro ends.

Reactivating before period end

If you change your mind before the period ends, open the Subscription page and click Reactivate. No new charge - your original subscription continues uninterrupted, and the next monthly credit renewal happens as scheduled.

Managing your payment method

To update your credit card, tax ID, or billing address, click Manage Billing on the subscription page. You are redirected to the Stripe Customer Portal where you can view invoices, change payment methods, and download receipts.

Tips

  • If you are cancelling because of cost, buy a credit pack instead - it is cheaper than Pro for occasional use.
  • Export anything you need before the period ends if you have a custom domain attached - after downgrade the project falls back to the subdomain.
  • Cancellation surveys go directly to the product team. Honest feedback helps.

Troubleshooting

  • Cancel button is greyed out - you may be on a RevenueCat subscription (iOS in-app purchase). Cancel from iOS Settings > Subscriptions instead.
  • I was charged after cancelling - check the billing portal for the exact cancel date. Stripe only stops future charges; one final invoice can post within 24 hours of cancel.
  • I want a refund - contact support@forvibe.dev with your account email and Stripe receipt.
