Creating Your First Project
Understand what a Forvibe project is, how to create one, and what the setup progress tracker is telling you.
Every app you manage in Forvibe is a project. A project groups your store listings, screenshots, landing page, legal documents, support inbox, and reviews behind a single dashboard.
Overview
Each project gets:
- A unique subdomain on forvibe.app (e.g. myapp.forvibe.app) that hosts the landing page and legal documents
- A dedicated support email at your project address (e.g. myapp@forvibe.app) for receiving customer emails
- Its own set of connected store credentials
- A setup progress tracker with four milestones: Mailbox, Landing Page, Legal, App Store Setup
Free plan allows one project. Pro plan allows unlimited projects. Projects cannot be merged or cloned - choose the name carefully.
Step-by-step
Open the new project form
From the console home, click New Project. You are taken to the project creation wizard.
Fill in basic details
Enter the app name (also used for the subdomain), a short tagline, and a detailed description. AI features - landing page generation, legal generation, AI Agent - all read from this description, so invest a minute in writing it well.
Pick a subdomain
Forvibe suggests a subdomain derived from the app name. You can override it. The subdomain is permanent - it is used for public URLs and internal email routing.
Land on the project dashboard
After creation you land at /console/project/[id]. The setup tracker at the top shows four incomplete milestones. Click any of them to jump into that feature.
What the setup tracker means
- Mailbox - support inbox activated once you send or receive at least one email
- Landing Page - marked complete when you publish your first landing page
- Legal - marked complete when you generate and publish a Privacy Policy
- App Store Setup - marked complete when at least one store credential is connected to the project
Tips
- You can edit the app name and description later from Settings, but the subdomain is locked after creation.
- If you are shipping multiple apps, create one project per app - do not reuse a project for different products.
Troubleshooting
- Subdomain conflict - if the subdomain is taken, Forvibe appends a suffix. Pick something more specific if the suggestion is too generic.
- Cannot create a project - on the Free plan you are limited to one. Delete the existing project from Settings > Danger Zone or upgrade to Pro.
Next step: connect your first app store. See the App Store Connect or Google Play setup guide.
